I have my tv on CNN to see the results of the Potomac primary. Hillary Clinton is speaking now and I am hearing the speech from the other room.
She just said she wanted to raise the minimum wage to $9.50 an hour to help people get out of poverty. AND she wants to make it so that Congress can't give themselves a raise unless they raise the minimum wage.
That's awesome.
This is the first thing I've heard about this from any candidate. Are there others saying this that I have just missed? If so, let me know.

Most of the democratic candidates, even since John Edwards, have said something similar. It's not a Clinton exclusive.
