You know what I need to do? I seriously need to build some wealth! I came across some wealth building tips that I need to put into practice. I need to grow my own food! I got some seeds from Lowe's and plan on trying a container garden. I try to do all of the other things that are the tips though. How about you?

Donating a car to charity sounds pretty awesome. It is not something that I am in a place to do. But apparently you get a nice tax break when you donate a car to charity. You can even donate things like boats or RVs. At first I was wondering what use a boat would be to a charity, right? Well, they auction it off to raise money for the charity!

State unemployment systems crash

Wow, this is sure some craziness. I saw the State unemployment claim systems overwhelmed story on Yahoo earlier today and opened it on my browser but just got the chance to read it. It seems that several states had so many people filing for unemployment that systems crashed. Websites went down and phone lines were full. That is pretty crazy right there. And it paints a real clear picture of the economy, huh? Craziness. There are some stats in the articles that might be of interest to some people on unemployment numbers in the affected states. Working as a temp during the holidays

My job is through a staffing agency.

The good thing about that is getting paid weekly.

But this time of year there are lots of bad things about it.

Like not getting paid for holidays.

Or not getting paid sick time.

And of course there is no such thing as paid vacation.

Sometimes I really hate not having a permanent job.
